It is great to see how Nico has come around the last 5 games and at least taken some of the load off Taylor Hall. For a stretch of a few weeks, I was getting worried about Nico, Jesper and Will Butcher. They were starting to show some rookie legs but appear they are back on track....huge week ahead, regulation wins at home vs Columbus and NYI would go along way in ending playoff drought!

He has been really good over the last few weeks. When I suggested that despite the points not being there, I took a lot of heat. It has all quieted now haha

Impressive win, especially considering the start time. Starting a game at 5:00 following a game last night seemed like pretty crappy scheduling. But the boys got it done anyway.

I was with you on that Todd. The kid is 20. Only one way to go. Glad to see Hisch progressing so well. Easily the best rookie from the 2017 draft this year. Calders seem to go to more mature rookie's these days. Panarin was 26 I think, and Boser/Barzel were both 2015 draft players. Will be interesting to compare how Hisch measures up to those guys in 2 years time.

I know it is early to be scoreboard watching but good to see the isles lose in regulation today so they didn't gain any ground on a day the devils are off

The devils keep taking care of business and they should be in good shape
